The City of Sandersville is seeking an engineering firm or individual engineer to provide engineering and design services for its Community Development Block Grant application. The award of the engineering contract is contingent upon the grant being funded by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. The selected firm or individual must be technically qualified and licensed to provide design and inspection services for local, state, and federally funded projects, including engineering services and programs. Procedures for selection will follow the RFQ package, local procurement requirements, and relevant federal and state regulations. This is a Section 3 contract opportunity and subject to Build America, Buy America Act requirements. The City reserves the right to request additional information, interview consultants, waive informalities and minor irregularities, and negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract, including scope, role, price, and staffing. Qualifications will be evaluated based on project approach, timing, experience, quality of work, and capacity of performance. Past performance on local government construction projects will also be assessed in terms of timeliness, completion within budget, and quality of work. Interested parties need to secure an RFQ packet and submit three copies of the proposal two hard copies by mail and one digital copy by email. Late submissions will not be considered. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. $1 million to $1.3 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
