Renovation of a municipal facility in Sandersville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility; and one-story above grade municipal facility.

The City of Sandersville is seeking bids from qualified suppliers for the purchase and installation of an outdoor recreational area for the city's animal control facility, as well as upgrading the interior of the animal control facility. The project will include outdoor running space, a 32'L X 45'W X 6'H galvanized chain link fence with a 7'W X 32'L X 4" D concrete pad adjacent to the exterior wall. Included within the fence will be a 4'H X 32'L galvanized chain link fence with a 4' gate adjacent to the concrete pad. Four 3'L X 6'W animal kennels will be placed on the concrete pad, attached to the exterior wall. Removal of one exterior ventilation fan and installation of one 36" X 80" exterior steel door added to the exterior wall entering the outdoor area is also required. Interior upgrades include removal and replacement of twenty 6'H X 42'W chain link gates including hardware and tubing for mounting to block walls, removal and replacement of ten galvanized steel channels with diverter plate for kennel wash-out drain, refastening top paneling of twenty kennels, filling gaps in block mortar in kennel area, repainting kennel area walls, and etching and epoxying concrete floor of all kennel areas. External office upgrades include removal of external bars on windows, removal and replacement of three external windows, removal and replacement of front walkway railing (42"H X 10'L), removal and replacement of office flooring, and painting the interior of the facility. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted prior to the deadline in three copies, delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked "ANIMAL CONTROL PARK PROJECT". The bid should include the total cost of equipment and installation, estimated project start date, a description of the equipment features and warranty provided, and a completed W-9 Form. Questions will be answered until the specified date by addendum posted on the city's website. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held to provide further clarity and instructions for the project.
