The project will consist of bridge repairs and improvements to Hope Hill Trench Bridge No. 255 and Hope Bridge No. 256, mill and overlay, partial full depth reconstruction, PROWAG compliant sidewalks, berm, curbing, guardrail, utility relocations and adjustments, and the installation of stormwater treatment units. Work to Bridge No. 256 will consist of a superstructure replacement to the existing arch bridge. Work to Bridge No. 255 will consist of concrete repairs to the superstructure and substructure, waterproofing, and the new pedestrian railing. The project will also include, but not be limited, to erosion control; handling, hauling, stockpiling, and management of contaminated soil; temporary and permanent striping; flagpersons; temporary construction signs; new signage; field office; mobilization; maintenance and protection of traffic; and all incidentals required to finish the work of this contract, complete and accepted.
