Remodeling of a multi-residential development in Bayonne, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
**As of December 15 2025, an award has not been made and bid results have not been made available. Additional information will be available late December 29 2025. Kitchen and bath replacements and plumbing upgrades at 49 East 18th Street. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the designation of the contract and the bidder's name, address, and telephone number on the exterior. An original and two copies are to be submitted. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond issued by a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company listed in the most recently published U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570, or by certified check in the amount called for in the specifications, made out to the Housing Authority of the City of Bayonne. Bids must also include affidavits referred to in the Instructions to Bidders and a Consent of Surety from a licensed surety company. Bid security must be 10% of the bid for bids up to $200,000, $20,000 for bids from $200,000 to $400,000, and 5% of the bid for amounts over $400,000. Compliance with the Davis-Bacon Wage Requirements and business registration provisions is required. The successful bidder must obtain a Performance Bond for the contract amount and a Maintenance Bond as defined in the specifications. Bidders must comply with the Affirmative Action Regulations of the State of New Jersey, Chapter 33 of the Public Laws of 1977, and Public Law of 1975, Chapter 127.
