Sealed bids will be received for the 2025 collection, transportation, and delivery of solid waste, vegetative waste, and commingled/cardboard/paper. Bids must be submitted on standard proposal forms furnished by the Township and in a sealed envelope clearly marked as specified. The guaranty accompanying the bid proposal shall be ten percent (10%) of the base bid, with a minimum of $500.00 and not to exceed $20,000.00, and may be given by Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or a Bid Bond from a reputable insurance company licensed in New Jersey. All business organizations must be registered with the State of New Jersey, and proof of registration must be provided. Bidders and subcontractors must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17-27. The Township reserves the right to hold bids for up to sixty (60) days for review and investigation and may reject all bids as authorized by law. A bidder may request withdrawal of a public works bid within five days after the opening due to a mistake.
