Site work for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

This project is an extension of the earlier renovation project. An additional 5076 LF of shoreline will be armored with riprap. Work on this project will be completed by barge to minimize disruption and restoration needs to the park. Proposal Guarantee: $50,000.00 Completion Date: 06/30/2026 Each bidder shall accompany the bid with a bid security as defined in Iowa code section 26.8. Copies of the bid security will be accepted for those bidders submitting bids electronically. Additionally, if the apparent lowest responsible, responsive bidder submits an electronic bid security, the original security must be mailed to the Department, at 6200 Park Avenue, Suite 200, Des Moines, IA, 50321, within five business days of the bid letting date. The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Failure to execute a contract for the proposed work and file an acceptable Performance Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a certificate of liability insurance, within thirty days of the date of the award of the contract, will be just and sufficient cause for the rescinding of the award and the forfeiture of the bid security.
