Qualified bidders may submit bids for furniture for the newly built library building, specifically for the procurement, delivery, and installation of new library shelving at the Benton Community Center & Public Library, located at 31 W Main Street, Benton, WI. Bids must be submitted according to the provided instructions, on the official bid form, and must include bid security. Bidders must be properly licensed under applicable laws and able to obtain required insurance and bonds. Bids must include a corporate surety bond for the faithful performance of contract work, equal to five percent (5%) of the contract amount. This project is sales tax exempt and an exemption certificate will be issued for materials, supplies, and equipment used. No oral, telephonic, or electronic bids will be accepted. All bids will be publicly opened and are subject to review and potential awarding to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, with rights reserved by the owner to waive informalities or reject any or all bids as allowed by law. Bidders must affirm that no official or employee of the village has a personal interest in the bid. All relevant laws, codes, and village policies apply.
