Site work for a water / sewer project in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The proposed construction consists of the installation of approximately 4,600 linear feet of 6-inch to 20-inch water main and approximately 1,000 linear feet of 8-inch to 15-inch storm sewer. This procurement is subject to regulations including procedures for issuing loans from the Public Water Supply Loan Program, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act Apprenticeship Initiative, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise policy, and the 'Use of American Iron and Steel' requirements. The procurement must also comply with the requirements of the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA). Vendors must self-register in the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) portal for the City of Joliet and accept all terms and conditions to participate.
