Site work for a water / sewer project in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The proposed construction consists of the installation of approximately 9,406 linear feet of 6-inch to 16-inch water main. Bidders are required to attend and participate in a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. The procurement is subject to various regulations including the procedures for issuing loans from the Public Water Supply Loan Program (35 IAC Part 662), the Davis-Bacon Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act Apprenticeship Initiative, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise policy, the "Use of American Iron and Steel" requirements, and the requirements of the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA). Bidders must self-register in the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) portal for the City of Joliet, accept all terms and conditions, and opt in to notifications. All bids must be submitted in Euna Procurement (Bonfire). Any awarded contracts are expected to be funded in part by loans from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
