Description

Renovation of a retail development in Carthage, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade retail development.

The Smith County Board of Education is accepting bids for completion of steel framing at the former Carthage Save-A-Lot Building. All bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting at the former Save-A-Lot building, 551 Industrial Drive, Carthage, TN at 10:00 am on November 6, 2025. Specifications may be obtained by visiting the bid notices tab at the provided web address or by contacting the Smith County Board of Education. All bids must be sealed in an envelope with BID # 25-107 clearly labeled on the outside. Bidders must provide evidence of compliance with the applicable provisions of Title 62, Chapter 6, before the bid may be considered. Bids are to be submitted to the Smith County Finance Department at the listed address, where a public bid opening will be conducted. The Smith County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
