General Requirements The Contractor shall supply labor, material, and equipment to remove the high service pump for transport to the shop for rebuilding, and subsequently reinstall the rebuilt unit. 1.1 Work Sequence Work shall be performed on one pump at a time to maintain operational capacity. 2. Scope of Work (Rebuild Services) 2.1 Included Work The rebuild scope includes the following services for each pump: 1. Removal & Transport: Remove the high service pump for transport to the shop for rebuilding. 2. Machining: Machining new shafting and couplings. 3. Machining: Machining new bearings. 4. Machining: Machining new impeller and bowl wear rings. 5. Surface Treatment: Sandblast pump head and columns inside and out and apply coatings. 6. Reinstallation & Test: Reinstall pumps, motors, and connections, and perform a test run. 2.2 Excluded Work The following items are specifically excluded from this scope: Supply of new impellers. Any motor work.
