Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sunnyvale, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary and incidental to the completion of the project known as Pedestrian and Safe Routes to School Improvements in Snail and Braly Corners Neighborhoods Project, consisting of clearing and grubbing, demolition of curb, gutter and sidewalk, installation of curb, gutter, and sidewalk, signing and striping, solar rectangular flashing beacon (RRFB) systems, relocation of an existing RRFB system, street lighting upgrades, and green stormwater infrastructure, according to plans and specifications prepared by the City of Sunnyvale and according to the contract documents. Project is to be completed within a total maximum of ninety working days. A completed Bid Form, any required attachments or explanatory materials, and a copy of the Bid Security must be submitted. Bid Security in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid dollar amount and conforming to the prescribed bidding procedures is required. Bidders must be licensed under Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California, perform with their own organization's work amounting to at least thirty-three percent of the contract price (except specialty items), have completed within the last five years a minimum of five projects involving work of similar type and complexity, each project valued at not less than $500,000, and meet other mandatory bid requirements. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. The project is subject to the prevailing wage rates, Federal minimum wage rate requirements, and the "Buy America" provisions of the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1982 as amended.
