The City of Sunnyvale is seeking proposals from licensed Engineering firms to provide professional services for design and preparation of bid documents and construction support for Preventive Maintenance for Various Bridges. The scope of work generally includes preparation of applications for and supporting documents for Caltrans E76 procurement, preliminary design, design development, bid documents, and bidding/construction support services for Public Works competitive bidding. Ancillary work includes environmental needs assessment and document preparation (CEQA and NEPA), construction cost estimating, schedule monitoring, preparation of reports and recommendations, and project management. The project involves rehabilitating the decks of five bridges within the City of Sunnyvale, three of which are shared with the City of Santa Clara, with treatments determined by the latest field inspection. Consultant services shall include, but are not limited to: project management, site survey, design development, bid documents, bidding support, and construction support services. All proposal documents must be submitted electronically prior to the due date.
