Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sunnyvale, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This notice seeks potential sources capable of providing Architect-Engineer Part One Services for Project 640-26-113 to renovate approximately 21,000 gross square feet of existing shell space on the first floor of Building 1002 for dry lab research and associated site improvements, including surface parking. Required services include site visits, field investigations, studies, and user interviews to develop drawings, specifications, and cost estimates encompassing all facets of work and required disciplines. Building 1002 is a two-story steel-framed structure constructed in 1962, with previous upgrades completed for seismic improvements, elevator and lobby additions, building envelope improvements, and roofing. The interior currently exists as shell space. The planned procurement will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price design contract to be advertised under FAR Part 36, utilizing NAICS code 541330. In accordance with FAR 52.236-22, the construction cost limit is approximately $25,000,000. Interested respondents must submit capability information that includes company details, business size and type, a statement of interest, and descriptions of relevant past work comparable in size, complexity, and scope performed within the last seven years. Submissions must include details such as project name, scope, square footage, building type, dollar value, performance dates, technical capabilities, key personnel, and identification of all self-performed work. Responses must be submitted electronically in PDF format with a cover page containing company and socioeconomic information. The capability statement will be used solely for market research to determine appropriate acquisition strategy. This notice is not a solicitation, does not commit the Government to procure services, and no evaluation letters or results will be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov for any potential solicitation. Location: Building 1002, Sunnyvale, California.
