Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct the 2025 Storm Sewer Improvements for Sanitary and Improvement District 603, Douglas County, Nebraska, as per the plans and specifications at the specified locations. The work consists essentially of the following approximate quantities: remove existing flume (2 EA), remove pavement (18 SY), construct 24" storm sewer (311 LF), construct curb inlet - Type I (1 EA), construct curb inlet - Type III (1 EA), construct 24" RC flared end section (1 EA), construct 9" pavement (Type OPW 3500) (18 SY), drill and grout #5x18" tie bars @ 48" O.C. (20 CY), on-site excavation (562 CY), install seeding - Type A (2,175 SY), and install erosion control matting - S-150 (2,175 SY). All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by E & A Consulting Group, Inc. and must be accompanied by an original bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than $2,950.00, made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District 603. Proposals must be enclosed in an envelope, sealed, and addressed to the Clerk of Sanitary and Improvement District 603, marked accordingly, and the bid security must be in a separate sealed envelope attached to the proposal envelope. The responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid will execute a written contract in accordance with the plans and specifications. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for sixty days after the bid opening. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
