The Town of North Hero is soliciting bids for the construction of a new Fire Station and Public Works building at 7444 US Route 2 in North Hero, Vermont. These buildings will replace the existing Town Garage/Fire Department building. Bidders are instructed to refer to the provided information for project specifications and requirements. Special instructions may include details for potential site visits. Summary Project Description: Construction of a new fire station and a new town garage for the Town of North Hero, VT. The fire station will consist of four apparatus bays, a storage mezzanine, and supporting utility rooms, adjacent to a meeting room space with storage, kitchen, and office. The town garage will consist of a conditioned three bay garage, storage mezzanine, and adjacent unconditioned storage bay. Project Location: 6441 US Route 2, North Hero, VT 05474 Required Construction Start: Not later than March 15, 2026. Required Substantial Completion Date: On or before November 25, 2026.
