Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in North Hero, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Redevelopment of the park to convert paved automobile roads to narrower width walking/biking paths using asphalt reclamation to create new gravel surfaces as well as narrowing existing gravel roads. The Entrance Area will also be improved to expand parking, create an accessible route to the start of the walking/biking path, and a new gate. Several structures on the site will be removed including four Toilet Buildings, the Contact Station and Shed at park entrance, and the Pump House at the old wastewater lagoon. The wastewater lagoon area will be restored with liner pulled and grading to eliminate holding capacity. New path edges and expanded greenspace at the Entrance Area will be tilled, topsoiled, seeded and mulched, (or hydroseeded) to meet Stormwater Post Construction Soil Depth and Quality Standards.
