The work includes the construction of approximately 3,800 linear feet of 10-inch HDPE waterline via pipe bursting and appurtenances. Bids for the project must be submitted via electronic mail by the specified deadline. Bidders are required to confirm receipt of their submission. Bid security is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements apply. Both performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, are required. The project is subject to the 'American Iron and Steel' provisions, Federal Wage Rates under the Davis-Bacon Act, and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used must be produced in the United States unless a waiver is approved. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the issuing office, and partial sets will not be available. Neither the owner nor engineer will be responsible for documents obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
