Site Directions: S. 1st Street between W. Garfield Avenue & E. Washington Avenue. All work will be performed under a single contract. The work generally includes but is not limited to: 1. Removal of existing asphalt and gravel. 2. Asphalt and gravel restoration. 3. Retain & protect existing site utilities and features. 4. Related improvements. Pre-Bid Meeting Info: No prebid. The project is located on S. 1st Street between W. Garfield Avenue and E. Washington Avenue. The project includes the reconstruction of S. 1st Street within project limits. The total length of the proposed improvements is approximately 435-feet with a 24-foot-wide asphalt section and related improvements as specified in the plans and contract documents. The Project has an expected duration of 135 days. Funded by LRHIP and City Funds. - As necessary for completion of work, Contractor shall provide asphalt and gravel surface restoration, retaining and protecting any water meters and hydrants, sanitary sewer, storm drains including culverts, existing power poles and site features, and miscellaneous items required within the improvement areas. - The removed existing asphalt and related items shall be removed and disposed of by the Contractor in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. - Contractor shall furnish all equipment necessary, provide all quality control monitoring, testing, and reporting as required by the specification sections of the contract documents. -The current edition of the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction (ISPWC) is to be adhered to throughout this project. Contractor shall keep a copy of the latest version of the ISPWC at the project site at all times during construction.
