The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, operations, materials, accessories, incidentals, services, and equipment indicated, specified, mentioned, scheduled, or implied per the bid documents. The work consists of removing existing carpet, walk off carpet, and wall base as indicated on the drawings, preparing floors for installation of new carpet and base, prepping existing hollow metal (HM) door frames for paint, temporarily removing furniture in areas of work, prepping walls where repainting occurs, temporarily removing switch plates, grilles, etc., installing carpet, walk off carpet, resilient base, rubber floor transitions if required, painting frames, painting walls, and reinstalling all items moved by the contractor. All materials, services, and work not specifically mentioned, including demolition and rework, necessary for a complete project shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State, and Federal requirements in accordance with the requirements, terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions contained in the bid documents. All communications shall only be through the specified channels. Bidders must examine all drawings, specifications, instructions, or requirements; submit bids using the required forms; and include all necessary documentation. No alterations to bid documents are permitted. Late or modified bids will not be accepted. Any clarification must be requested in writing and will only be issued by addendum.
