Renovation of a municipal facility in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.

Bidding is for multiple prime contracts for work in Zone B thru E as indicated by the project documents. Scope of work includes but is not limited to miscellaneous select demolition, concrete, masonry, miscellaneous steel, rough carpentry, thermal and moisture protection, doors, frames and hardware, finishes, specialties, furnishings, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electric and technology, and earthwork. Bidders must submit a certified check or bank draft payable to Erie Development Center of Erie County or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety company in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid with each bid. No bid or security may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date of bid opening. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price, and provide certificates of insurance demonstrating compliance with the specified minimum coverages. The project is subject to Davis Bacon Wage Rates and requirements of Executive Order 11245 as amended regarding equal opportunities. The Owner has established goals and timetables for minority and female participation, expressed in percentage terms for the contractor's aggregate workforce in each trade. Goals for minority participation for each trade are 2.8%. Goals for female participation for each trade are 6.9%. Award shall be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
