Construction services for the replacement of the existing running track at Sparrows Point High School for Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS). The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, running track resurfacing. The specifications that follow are being offered to qualify and select a contractor to provide a track replacement at Sparrows Point High School. All bidders or their subcontractors shall be members of the American Sports Builders Association, prior to the date of bid opening. All bidders submitting a proposal shall include evidence that the track installer (bidder or subcontractor) is a member of the American Sports Builders Association. The Baltimore County Department of Public Works' cost group for this project is C: $500,001 to $1,000,000. The contractor or suppliers who provide materials, supplies, equipment, and/or services for the above bid shall attempt to achieve 15% participation of Minority Business and/or Small Business Enterprise organizations in response to the Board of Education's goal for economic development. Certified Minority Business Enterprises and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to these solicitations. Bidders shall include minority and small business enterprise material as provided herein with their proposal.
