The Scope of the contract work is to clean out drainage canals throughout St. John the Baptist Parish. The Work generally involves the removal and disposal of fallen trees, fallen vegetation, rubbish, and debris deposited into 11 drainage canals by Hurricane Francine in various locations across St. John the Baptist Parish. Bid Date Notes: Bid envelopes shall be sealed, clearly marked on the outside of the envelope the name, address, Louisiana State Contractor's License Number of the bidder, and "Bid 2025.30 Hurricane Francine NRCS Drainage Canal Cleaning". Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. Question Deadline 11/13/2025 at 10:00 AM CT Questions and comments regarding this Bid must be submitted in writing to St. John the Baptist Parish, Purchasing & Procurement Department, ATTN: Peter Montz, 1811 West Airline Highway, LaPlace, LA 70068 or via e-mail to p.montz@Stjohn-la.gov No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof, except as provided under LA. R.S. 38:2214. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any entity.
