Renovation of a municipal facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Sealed bids for Project Nos. Q1959-C, Q1959-H, Q1959-P, and Q1959-E are requested for separate contracts covering Construction Work, HVAC Work, Plumbing Work, and Electrical Work at the OMH Central Office, 44 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY. Each bid must adhere to the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by the required bid security amount for each trade. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond for 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must comply with State Finance Law regarding communications and affirm this compliance on the bid form. There is a stipulated substantial completion date of 233 days after agreement approval. Bidders are urged to attend the pre-bid site visit at the specified date and time, with proper photo identification and advance scheduling. Goals for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) participation are established for each trade. The Office of General Services reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Trades with 0% MWBE or SDVOB goals are still encouraged to make good faith efforts to promote participation. Access to bidding documents is specified, and all bidders are expected to cooperate with MWBE and SDVOB policy implementation.
