Site work for a civil project in Atmore, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of the installation of approximately 6600 linear feet of sanitary sewer and a wastewater treatment package plant at the Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve; installation of approximately 17 manholes for the associated wastewater system improvements; and associated work. The entire project shall be completed in one hundred fifty (150) calendar days. A cashier's check (drawn on an Alabama bank) or bid bond for 5% of the amount bid (maximum - $50,000.00) and made payable to Poarch Band of Creek Indians must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith. It is not required that a contractor be licensed in order to submit a bid; however, prior to award of a contract, proper proof of all applicable licensures must be provided by the contractor. Proof of insurance coverages of the types and amounts as set forth in the project specifications will be required of the contractor, and any and all subcontractors, prior to beginning work. The contractor will be required to perform work amounting to at least 30% of the total contract cost with his own organization. Contractor prequalification is not required to bid on this project. Official bid documents can be downloaded from the specified website. No bid documents will be distributed later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids. Indian preference shall be offered to certified businesses in accordance with Titles 33 and 37 of the Tribal Code of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. The right to reject any or all bids and to disregard any minor irregularities is reserved by the owner.
