Sealed bids are being accepted for the construction of four (4) single family homes. Interested parties must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference where bid packages are distributed; no packages will be given out after this conference. A $100.00 deposit is required for each set of bidding documents, refundable if returned in usable condition within five days after bids are received. The project is funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, and preference is given to Indian-owned companies as required by federal law, with documentation required. All bids must include a bid guarantee of at least five percent of the bid amount, which may be in the form of a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bonds at par value, or a bid bond from an approved surety company. Bidders must not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin and must take affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity. The bid envelope should be clearly marked with specific project information and the participant's name. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding process.
