The project consists of improvements to the existing Canoe Well distribution system. The work includes new filtration equipment, piping improvements, and connection to the existing SCADA equipment. The project must be substantially completed within 90 calendar days after the contract time begins, and completed and ready for final payment within 120 calendar days after the contract time begins. Only properly licensed contractors with the Municipal and Utility classification as listed in the latest edition of the Roster of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama, will be considered. Nonresident contractors must submit proof of registration with the Alabama Secretary of State as a foreign corporation and a Certificate of Good Standing from the State of Alabama Department of Revenue. Indian preference will be given as per Title 37, Chapter 6 and Title 33, Chapter 3 of the Tribal Code of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. Bidding documents are available from the issuing agent, Three Notch Group, Inc. Partial sets will not be issued, and neither the Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for documents obtained from sources other than the issuing agent.
