Question Deadline 11/14/2025 In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid. The project consists of one Base Bid, which includes the excavation and soil replacement in accordance with the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) and planting of various vegetation at the Compost Facility. Work also includes the installation of post and rail fence, and construction of a stone access road through the site. All work must be completed within ninety calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Proposals must be made on the standard proposal forms, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the bidder's name and address and the project name, and addressed to the Owner. Proposals must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety and either a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000. A performance bond and labor and material payment bond for the full amount of the project is required. Only bidders qualified per contract requirements may submit proposals. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive informalities not detrimental to the Owner's interest, and may increase or decrease quantities as specified. The successful bidder must comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including affirmative action requirements and public disclosure provisions. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
