Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Demarest, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed bids are invited for the Nancy Woods Memorial Gazebo Rehabilitation and Improvements at Demarest Borough Hall, 118 Serpentine Road, Demarest, New Jersey. Drawings, specifications, and bid forms are available for examination at the Engineer's office. Digital or print copies of the plans and specifications may be furnished upon request with a non-refundable payment. Bids must be submitted on Standard Proposal Forms as required by the specifications, enclosed in sealed envelopes, and accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit, and a certified check or bid bond of not less than 10% of the bid amount (minimum $500, maximum $20,000), along with a consent of surety from an authorized company for 100% of the bid amount. Bidders must comply with New Jersey laws and regulations, including affirmative action, business registration requirements, equal opportunity requirements, Local Public Contracts Law, and must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor. Bids must be signed in ink and mailed to the Borough Clerk. All bids shall remain valid for 60 days. The Borough reserves the right to reject or waive informalities. Prevailing wage rates apply. Small, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to compete. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
