Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in South Salt Lake, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of South Salt Lake requests bids from qualified contractors to construct a facility at 3291 S 900 West. The scope of work includes providing materials, supplies, and installation of solid fencing and chain link fencing as indicated on the attached plan and specification sheet, as well as installing an owner-provided mechanical gate. Mini chain link fencing is to be installed along the east and south sides of the property according to the attached drawing, using one (1) inch diamond 11 gauge galvanized steel wire, 2 3/8" 40 weight posts, 1 5/8" top rail, 7 gauge bottom wire, with post holes and concrete for common posts at 8" diameter, and corner/end posts at 10" diameter with all post holes at least 30" deep. Solid fencing is to be installed along the west side and southwest corner of the property as shown in the drawing, based on Trex Seclusions, 8-foot-wide vertical panels in Woodland Brown, per attached manufacturer's specifications. Substitutions may be considered if they meet the same general requirements of the specified Trex fencing. Bidders must meet all contracting and insurance requirements indicated in the sample agreement provided in the project manual. Proposals will only be accepted until the designated deadline and may be submitted in person, by email, or through the Utah Public Procurement Portal. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely receipt of their submission. No pre-bid conference will be held, but site visits are available.
