Renovation of a multi-residential development in Lowell, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The LHA owns and/or manages 3,147 units of housing comprising of: (a) 1,625 units in federal family and elderly/disabled housing developments. The HUD-aided properties are managed under an Asset Management Project model ("AMP"). The LHA has four (4) AMPs and a stateaided portfolio. (b) 148 units in state housing developments, 42 units in HUD Multi-family new construction/substantial rehabilitation development and (c) 1,384 U.S. HUD Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers The Lowell Housing Authority (the Authority) is seeking proposals for Architectural and Design and Construction Administration Services by licensed engineers and/or designers to create plans and provide contract administration for the replacement of a fire pump and associated piping, valves & new concrete pad to be included at City View Towers Design and bidding documents should be completed and submitted to the Authority no later than January 26, 2026. Project completion date shall be no later than May 2026. Question Deadline 11/06/2025 at 3:00 PM ET LHA reserves the right to cancel this QSP or reject in whole or in part any and all quotes if the Authority determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interests of the Authority. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
