Maine Township High School District 207 is accepting sealed bids for the 2026 Masonry Repair and Restoration Project at Maine South High School. The project will encompass approximately 16,800 square feet of wall surface over 9 elevations. This is a prevailing wage project and certified payroll will be required. All prospective bidders must attend a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at the specified location and time. Stipulated Lump Sum Bids will be publicly opened at the district administration center. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid must be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the school district. All bidders must comply with Illinois statutes requiring the payment of prevailing wage rates for publicly-funded projects. If wage rates change during the work period, the contractor is responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount.
