Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Wenonah, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Abandonment of the existing Well No.1 and demolition of its Well House. Construction of the new Well No.1 Well House and installation of the new well. Installation of a chlorine gas feed disinfection system and project piping. Bid Security will be required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount, but shall not exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract price. The Bonds or other acceptable surety must be in a form acceptable to The Borough of Wenonah and be issued by a surety company or institution authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form contained in the Contract Documents and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of project and the name and address of the Bidder. Bidders are required to submit a certificate from the New Jersey Department of Labor establishing that the bidder is registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 1999, c.238). Bidder are also required to submit current proof of Business Registration and current proof of Business Registration for all named Subcontractors in accordance with P.L. 2007 c.57. Question Deadline 11/17/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Inquiries which are received less than the required ten (10)) day allotment may not be answered. Supplemental Instructions and/or responses by the Engineer, if any, will be issued in the form of a written addendum mailed or delivered to all parties known to have received a set of the Contract Documents. Should the Bidders fail to fully understand any clause, requirement, or portion of the Contract Documents, an inquiry for an interpretation by the Engineer must be made in advance of the bid submission.
