Renovation of a municipal facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the University of Utah Purchasing Department. This is a courtesy posting and an advertisement of a procurement opportunity for The University of Utah, not the DFCM. Responses should be directed to the designated individual or office as indicated in the solicitation document. The contract award for this solicitation will not be posted on the referenced website; instead, you need to contact the designated individual or office identified in the solicitation document. The solicitation posting will be canceled or closed upon the closing date; however, a vendor's response will still be evaluated by The University of Utah as described in the solicitation document. The DFCM is not the issuing or conducting procurement unit for this solicitation, and it is the vendor's responsibility to review the entire solicitation to comply with any requirements. This is a Request for Information for the University of Utah Historic Fort Douglas Soldier's Circle Revitalization. The last day to submit questions is Thursday November 13, 2025, by 5:00 PM MST. Vendor responses to this RFI are due on Thursday November 20, 2025, by 5:00 PM MST. The purpose of this Request for Interest (RFI) is to generate conceptual ideas for consideration by the University of Utah, staff, and advisors on the range of potential opportunities for the site in the current economic and cultural environment, and to identify potential applicants for a future Request for Proposal (RFP). In addition to traditional development or lease arrangements, the University is open to exploring partnership development concepts where the University and a private developer jointly structure and deliver projects that align with university priorities and historic preservation requirements. Response to the RFI is not a pre-requisite for being invited to respond to the RFP, but it is recommended. The University will not compensate respondents for any costs or expenses incurred in providing a response to this RFI.
