Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Riverton, Utah. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to install a utility owned power transformer to replace a Jordan Valley Water Conservation District (JVWCD) owned power transformer. The work will consist of demolition of existing equipment, installation of new transformer pad, metering enclosure, switchgear, and additional items identified within the project drawings. The new metering enclosure and switch gear will be furnished by JVWCD and is to be installed by the contractor. Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) will furnish and install the power transformer, secondary conductors between the transformer and switch gear, current transformers, and energy meter. Bids will be received by Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District at 8215 South 1300 West, West Jordan, Utah 84088 or electronically in adobe .pdf format. Prospective bidders must register on the District's website under the project to receive notifications and addenda. Contractors are required to check the District's website for any addenda prior to submitting a bid. Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond are required for any bid exceeding $50,000. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner. All questions related to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Manager for the project.
