Renovation of a library in Petoskey, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The City of Petoskey seeks a qualified Historic Window Restoration Professional to assess and rehabilitate the exterior windows and vestibule door for the Carnegie Building in Petoskey, Michigan. During the performance of this project, the Contractor will coordinate with Energy Sciences (Project Manager), the City of Petoskey, the Petoskey District Library, and the Downtown Management Board (Downtown). The main goals of this project are to preserve the building's historic character while improving window and door performance and to establish a long-term maintenance practice so the improvements persist over time. For the full assessment, focus on 34 historic windows (east, west, south). For the north side windows and the vestibule door, only evaluate trim and historic features and develop a maintenance protocol; rehabilitation is not included on the north side or the vestibule door.
