The Plumas County Department of Facility Services and Airports is responsible for maintaining several County owned buildings and Properties throughout Plumas County. This includes, but is not limited to, routine maintenance, HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical, yard maintenance, and Capital Improvement Projects. The purpose for this Invitation for Bid is to enter a contract with a Contractor that holds a Class C-11 elevator Contractor License issued by the state of California, to replace existing failed elevator located at 1 Crescent Street Quincy, CA 95971 Services to be provided by the contractor to the Plumas County Facility Services and Airports, and the amounts of the services shall be as follows: This scope of work is for the replacement of the failed elevator at the Plumas County Assessor's office located at 1 Crescent Street Quincy, CA 95971. Work will consist of removal of failed elevator and all related hardware and controls, and proper disposal of all materials and fluids. New elevator will be of a non-proprietary limited use, limited application (LULA), single story, with entrance and exit on one side. Current failed elevator has a rear door that will not be used in the new elevator, and Plumas County Facilities will provide the materials and labor to close in this opening. Contractor is to provide drawings for submittal to Plumas County Building Department for permit and provide all labor, materials, and equipment to construct new LULA elevator to current codes and industry standards. The contractor is to notify Plumas County Facilities of any needed repairs that are outside the scope of work and allow time for any repairs. Contract Term The term of the contract is from the date of approval of the Board of Supervisors to June 30, 2026, unless extended by mutual agreement due to permitting delays, weather, or other unforeseen conditions. By submitting a bid, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the attached Plumas County standard contract template in the event your bid is selected. Please review the attached contract carefully. Proposals must be received by the Department of Facility Services staff no later than 3:00pm on Monday, December 1, 2025. Upon receipt, proposals shall be marked with the date and time of the receipt and shall be stored in a secure place until the date and time set for the opening of proposals. Telephonic, telegraphic, emailed, or faxed proposals will not be accepted. Proposals received after 3:00pm on December 1st will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected.
