The Contractor shall provide all labor and materials for preparation work including pressure wash, scrape, sand and fill as necessary, remove old caulking and re-caulk, protect surfaces not being painted and provide all labor and materials to provide 1prime coat and 1coat Sherwin Williams Duration matching existing colors as close as possible. All work is to be done in a workmanlike and safe manner to industry standards and manufacturers recommendations. The contractor is to notify Plumas County Facilities of any needed repairs that are outside the scope of painting and allow time for any repairs. This project is a prevailing wage project and will be registered with DIR. The Plumas County Department of Facility Services and Airports is responsible for maintaining several County owned buildings and Properties throughout Plumas County. This includes, but is not limited to, routine maintenance, HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical, yard maintenance, and Capital Improvement Projects. The purpose for this Invitation for Bid is to seek and enter into a contract with a Contractor that holds a Class C-33 Painting and Decorating License issued by the state of California, to prep and paint Plumas County Sheriff's Office located at 1400 East Main St Quincy, CA 95971 and Plumas County Animal Services Located at 201 Mill Creek Rd Quincy, CA 95971 Plumas County Facility Services & Airports reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive any information, technical defect, or clerical errors in any submittal. This IFB is not an offer to contract. The accepted proposal may become part of the contract agreement for furnishing the services. The cost of developing the proposal and its attachments or enclosures is the sole responsibility of the contractor. Plumas County Facilities & Airports is not liable for any costs incurred by those responding to this IFB by submitting a proposal. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the notation "Plumas Sheriff's Office and Animal Services Exterior Paint". Plumas County Facilities and Airports reserves the right to issue one or more addenda to this IFB if the Plumas County Facilities and Airports deems it necessary to revise or clarify this original IFB.
