Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. Installation of generator, fuel tanks, foundations, and associated improvements at the Lumberton ISD dome site. 2. Installation of generator, fuel tanks, foundations, and associated improvements at the Lumberton ISD gym site. Hardin County is undertaking the installation of a new Power Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch at Lumberton ISD Dome Site and Gym Site in Lumberton, Texas. This project includes setting up a 900 KW Generator, a 1600 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch and a 1000 Amp Outdoor Rated Panel Board at the Dome Site, along with the installation of 400 KW Generator, 600 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch at the Gym Site. The information contained in this Scope of Work is intended to define the parties, activities, and responsibilities required for the construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the Electrical. This summary will define the parties and outline the highlights of activities, and responsibilities to complete the project on budget and schedules. It is not the entirety of the scope of work. Contractor shall utilize plans, specifications, work summary and generally accepted industry practices to complete this project. Codes and regulations including but are not limited to NEC-NFPA 70, NFPA 110, UL 1008 and others as applicable. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Hardin County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
