West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors is seeking qualified general contractors to provide all labor, material, equipment, and services for demolition, patching/repair, painting, and electrical work as necessary to install new graphic displays at the WVU Basketball Practice Facility at 3455 Jerry West Drive in Morgantown, WV. Required documentation must be submitted under supplier attachments with response. Questions must be submitted directly on the solicitation website on the Q&A Board. Addenda will be posted on the Q&A Board, and bidders should visit the site regularly during the solicitation. Bid responses must be submitted directly on the website in PDF format. Contractors must read and comply with the WVU EH&S Contractor Safety Program. The contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion by 2/28/2026 and Final Completion by 3/28/2026. Substantial and Final Completion will be calculated from the issuance of the University's Notice to Proceed or executed agreement. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500 per calendar day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and $250 per calendar day of delay in achieving Final Completion. Time is of the essence.
