Site work for a water / sewer project in Ripley, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Furnishing and installation of approximately 7,665 linear feet of 2-inch waterline, and necessary appurtenances. Bidders must obtain a copy of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office to be considered valid and responsible. Printed copies are available for $100.00 per set, and digital copies for $35.00 per set. Partial sets are not available. The Bidding Documents obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office will not be the responsibility of the Owner or Engineer. Bidders must comply with all requirements concerning bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. The Owner may also reject the Bid of any Bidder it finds to be non-responsible or if it believes it would not be in the best interest of the Project. The Owner reserves the right to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder and to waive minor informalities that do not involve price, time, or changes in the Work. Bidders must comply with the President’s Order No. 11246 prohibiting discrimination, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, the Davis Bacon Act, and West Virginia Division of Labor minimum wage requirements. Successful Bidders must also comply with the West Virginia Jobs Act and the Alcohol & Drug Free Workplace Act. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements apply. Bidders must make good faith efforts to subcontract a portion of the total contract value to MBE/WBE Disadvantaged businesses, in compliance with the six good faith efforts outlined in 40 CFR 31.36(e). Failure to demonstrate good faith efforts may result in rejection of the bid. Bidders must have the appropriate West Virginia General Engineering Contractor’s License, and include the license number on all Bids submitted. Proper Bid surety must accompany each Bid, or it will be rejected as incomplete or non-responsive. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety days after the opening.
