Bids are requested for the removal of old HVAC systems and installation of new HVAC systems in Henry J. Kaiser and Ravenswood Grade School. Contractors not previously employed by Jackson County Schools for such services must provide a detailed written description of their qualifications and two references of similar work for other clients. Work must not start before June 1, 2026 and must be completed by July 31, 2026. Bids should be submitted in a marked envelope. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through will be held at the Jackson County Board office, where contractors will receive a copy of the Scope of Work and visit the construction sites. Within ten days of contract award, the successful bidder must provide written verification of Workers Compensation Coverage, $1,000,000 liability insurance, and a general contractor's license for the State of West Virginia. The Jackson County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process.
