The project consists of providing and installing approximately 3,885 feet of fencing for the Department of Recycling & Solid Waste at 1419 Holland Rd in Appleton, WI. The scope of work includes following the specifications developed by SCS Engineers as detailed in the Technical Specifications Project #25225132.00 titled Litter Fencing Outagamie County Northwest Landfill (15 pages) and accompanying drawings (2 pages). Bidders are required to submit a bid form, unit price bid schedule, bid bond, completed Attachment A, and 3-5 references. A bid bond of five percent of the total bid price is required. The successful contractor must provide the necessary insurance certificate, performance bond, and a labor and material payment bond within ten business days of bid acceptance. All materials for the project are tax-exempt under Wisconsin State Statute 77.54(9m). Only AIA Document A101-2007 with owner revisions and associated general conditions (A201) will be used for the contract. The awarded contractor must also submit a Responsible Bidder Form and Certificate of Insurance. Clarification and/or Revisions to the Specifications and Requirements Bidder must examine the documents carefully and before submitting a Bid, may request additional information or clarification. A Bidder'sfailure to request additional information or clarification shall preclude the Bidder from subsequently claiming any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error. The County is relying on the bidder to provide its professional (experience and expertise with regard to industry standards for the project being bid). If bidder believes specifications are not within industry standards, bidder must bring its objection or concern to the County's attention.
