The project consists of the construction of a 12' to 14' wide asphalt pavement/concrete shared use path with boardwalk sections between W Taft Vineland Blvd and Destination Parkway for a total distance of 2.158 miles. These limits are broken into two (2) goes-with plan sets - Phase 1 Segment 3 from W Taft Vineland Blvd to north of SR 528, and Phase 1 Segment 3 from north of SR 528 to Destination Parkway. The combined projects include 176 linear feet of concrete sidewalk, 6,312 linear feet of asphalt trail with ribbon curb, and 4,675 linear feet of boardwalk. The trail will also include pedestrian/bicycle picket railing, Type B fencing, signing and markings, and sod. Other improvements associated with this project consist of but are not limited to Construct sidewalk connections. Remove and replace existing handrail. Remove and replace existing mitered end sections and storm pipes. Placement of signage and pavement markings. Install new fences and fence gates. Removal of existing concrete. Removal of existing fences and guardrail. Placement of erosion control measures.
