Allows zero unit prices and labor Yes Allows negative unit prices and labor Yes The work for which includes the removal and replacement of the existing fire alarm panel and the existing strobes throughout the building and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, and City of Columbus Construction and Material Specifications as set forth in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Project Location: 59 Spruce St., Columbus, Ohio 43215 BID CANCELLATIONS AND REJECTIONS The City may cancel the IFB, reject any or all bids in whole or in part, waive technicalities, and/or advertise for new bids, without liability to the City and when in the best interest of the City. The City shall have 180 calendar days from the date of the bid opening to provide the bidder a Notice of Award. During this 180- day period, the bidder agrees to hold their bid prices. All work shall be substantially complete within 100 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Questions pertaining to the drawings and specifications, IFB, and/or other contract documents must be submitted in writing only to the Architect/Engineer Karpinski Engineering, ATTN: Gary Jones via email [gjones@karpinskieng.com] prior to November 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM local time. No phone calls will be accepted.
