The City of Columbus Finance & Management Department solicits proposals from Contractors awarded RFQ028293. East Side Health Canopy Repair The canopy above the main entrance of the building has been damaged and needs repaired. A walkthrough is not needed for the project (please see picture of damage) Specifications for Dryvit Repair for the Canopy at East Side Health. o The repair is to the overhang on the synthetic stucco at the Northwest corner of the soffit. o Tape and secure a safe work environment to protect customers from falling debris. o Clean the work area every night after work is completed for the day. o Remove all cracked and loose material that was damaged. o Make sure the water membrane behind the repair is intact (if any). o During the installation make sure all seams are sealed and have the membrane over the joint and either adhered with mortar or mechanically fastened. o Membrane over the entire area to be repaired. o Scratch the brown coat to allow the new base coat to span the repair on all sides and reinforce the corner. o For the finish coats, take them to the V grooves to the top (middle) and right (about 4'). (West side). o The North side needs the topcoat to carry to the corner meeting the building. o All debris is to be taken offsite and disposed of properly. o Final cleaning done by contractor. o Contractor to install all material and labor to complete installation. o Contractor is responsible for proper removal of all waste and debris from project site. City dumpsters are not to be used. Contractor to haul away all trash. At completion of project, work area should be thoroughly cleaned. o Obtain and provide all state and City permits. o Provide all labor, materials, supplies and a one-year workmanship warranty. o All work to be done during normal business hours. o Would like to complete the project within one month of PO being created.
