Electronic bids will be received for the Cooling Tower Upgrade project at the Supreme Court of Ohio, 65 S Front St., Columbus, Ohio, in accordance with the prepared Contract Documents. Bidders must use the State's electronic bidding service, registering, creating a digital ID, and submitting bids as outlined. Requests for consideration of substitutions for products, equipment, or services must be submitted no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening and may only be accepted via written Addendum. Bidders must comply with the included "State of Ohio Standard Requirements for Public Facility Construction." Prevailing Wage rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply. The project is subject to the State of Ohio's Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE) Business Development Program, with a 5% participation goal. Bidders may also be subject to a Pre-Award Affirmative Action Compliance Review. Indications of service locations must comply with stated Executive Orders. Domestic steel use requirements apply. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in a Drug-Free Safety Program prior to submitting a bid, and, if awarded, must comply with DFSP criteria described in the General Conditions. The Contractor is responsible for project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and providing other services identified in the Contract Documents. Question Deadline 11/14/2025: Bidder finds any perceived ambiguity, conflict, error, omission, or discrepancy within the Contract Documents, including the Drawings, Specifications, and Addenda, or between any of the Contract Documents and Applicable Law, the Bidder shall submit a written Request for Interpretation ("RFI") to the A/E for an interpretation or clarification The A/E shall respond to RFIs received more than 7 days before the bid opening.
