The Board of Education (BOE) has established an aspirational goal of 20% participation by business designated as LEDE. Vendors are strongly encouraged to use a good faith effort to support the BOE in achieving the Districts LEDE participation goals. Question Deadline 11/07/2025 Bidder shall submit a written Request for Interpretation to the Architect Remove the existing thermoplastic membrane, flashing and sheet metal down to the existing tapered polyisocyanurate insulation. Replace any wet insulation with new. The roofing contractor shall provide a cost for 4' x 4', 5" average thickness, A: 12" tapered insulation and include 160 square feet of wet and damaged replacement into their base bid. Remove the existing tapered insulation saddle along the South end of the roof area and install a new Vi. 12" tapered insulation system and 8' x 8' tapered drain sumps per NRCA guidelines. Install a layer of 1" polyisocyanurate insulation over top of the properly prepared substrate with white insulation fasteners attached per ASCE 7 wind uplift calculations. Adhered a layer of 'A" gypsum recovery board in cold process insulation adhesive per ASCE 7 wind uplift spacing. Install a new 2 ply modified bitumen KEE roof and flashing system per Section 07 55 00 and the attached detail drawings. Install new sheet metal counter flashing (surface mounted or into the existing thru wall flashing receiver where appropriate. Note: Do NOT install new counter flashing over top of any existing weep systems or thru wall flashing systems. Clean up all debris and damage done to grounds, building and roof top (if any)
