Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Schulenburg, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for East Avenue Water Line Improvements from Schwartz to US 90 and Sewer Line Improvements from East Avenue eastward towards Prime Products. The work includes demolition, installation of new water and wastewater lines, meters, manholes, services, and associated appurtenances. A bid bond of 5% of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, must be submitted with each bid. Alternatively, a certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds at par value may be submitted. The successful bidder must ensure non-discrimination in employment. Bids may be held by the City for up to seventy consecutive calendar days for review. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder based on proposal price (including alternates), historical quality, and the bidder's past performance, safety, and working relationship with the city and other entities. Question Deadline 11/14/2025 No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretations should be in writing to BEFCO ENGINEERING INC., P.O. BOX 615, LA GRANGE, TEXAS 78945 and to be given consideration must be received as least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids
