**As of December 22, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed proposals will be received from qualified solar developers to provide for the installation, operation, and maintenance of a community solar photovoltaic power system at the Central Regional Memorial Middle School and Central Regional High School. The agreement will be a solar ground lease for a portion of the school property (parking lot only) to generate and distribute electricity to the community in accordance with the Community Solar Energy Program as established by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and only for this purpose, pursuant to terms and conditions of the solar ground lease agreement. Proposers and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and must possess a current certificate indicating compliance. A valid Business Registration Certificate from the New Jersey Department of Treasury - Division of Revenue is also required. Attendance at a Pre-Proposal Conference is strongly encouraged, with an optional inspection of select facilities immediately following. Additional surveys can be arranged by appointment. All proposals become the property of the Central Regional Board of Education and will not be returned. All processes and criteria outlined by the Board must be followed, and the Board reserves the right to reject any proposals not received in the designated manner or that are deemed not in its best interests. Participation is voluntary and at the sole cost and risk of the proposer, with no reimbursement for proposal costs or damages from the Board or its consultants.
